If you find yourself wandering the charming streets of Seville, make sure to stop by Bodegon Alfonso XII, a delightful Spanish restaurant located at C. Alfonso XII, 33 in the heart of the Casco Antiguo district. This gem offers much more than just a meal; it promises an authentic culinary experience immersed in local culture.
Bodegon Alfonso XII specializes in traditional Spanish tapas, a local favorite that allows you to savor a little bit of everything. With an impressive variety of dishes on offer, from the freshest seafood to an array of flavorsome vegetarian options, there’s a taste here for every palate. Customers rave about the quality of food, with many highlighting the delicious tapas and refreshing sangria as must-tries. Echo Bai emphasized the restaurant's inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, noting the freshness of the food and the incredible value—dishes averaging less than $15! Imagine sinking your teeth into a plate of perfectly seasoned patatas bravas or sharing a pan of flavorful paella surrounded by good company, all while enjoying the warm, local ambiance.
Step inside Bodegon Alfonso XII, and you'll feel like a local rather than a tourist. The cozy interior, complete with rustic touches, creates a welcoming space where conversations flow easily and laughter fills the air. Kyle Hayashi cherished this aspect, saying it felt like a true local bar restaurant, where the prices are as friendly as the staff. Inspired by such an atmosphere, you might find yourself visiting multiple times, just as Boglarka Nemeth did, returning daily for the unbeatable combination of quality food and personable service by the beloved 'el jefe' Alejandro.
Whether you're seeking a light bite or a hearty meal, Bodegon Alfonso XII doesn't disappoint. Anto Nella appreciated the substantial portions, especially the generous menu of the day that offers two dishes, bread, and a drink for only €10! While the bread could use a little softening, the overall experience was delightful. The ambiance is amplified by efficient air conditioning, providing a refreshing escape from the warm Seville sun.
Don't miss out on the delightful desserts either. As Nubob Edwards confirmed, the sweet offerings here, paired with a good glass of local wine, are worth every bite. Perfect for solo travelers or groups alike, Bodegon Alfonso XII delivers a heartwarming taste of Spanish hospitality.
So, on your next visit to Seville, allow yourself the pleasure of experiencing Bodegon Alfonso XII—where the food is fresh, the service is genuine, and the prices are incredibly affordable. It’s a culinary treasure that offers not just dinner, but a memory you'll cherish long after you've left the vibrant city.

What I enjoyed the most is the cozy atmosphere as it feels like a truly local bar restaurant where the locals go. It brims with menu variety at a very reasonable price. It lies in a fairly convenient location, and the food was good quality for its price. Went there 3 times in our trip to Seville.

I found this place near my accommodation on the first night. I went back every day, one of the day even two times. Food was great and cheap and the staff was friendly. Specially 'el jefe' Alejandro. I had a great chat with him. I highly recommend the tapas and the sangria. I'd definitely return if I was to go to Seville again.

Good place to grab some food and drinks. Plenty of options including a few vegan/vegetarian dishes. It’s not expensive and it’s well served. Menu of the day includes 2 dishes, bread and a drink for €10. Each of the dishes are massive. Just one would be already enough. Half serves are also quite big. Only negative thing is that the bread was a bit stiff. Aircon was good and helped us rest from the heat.

Had a fabulous meal here tonight. Chose from the set menu and added a rice pudding dessert. Bread to start with a glass of beer each, x2 main meals and dessert for x2 for £26! Fantastic value.

Came here for a meal during holy week, just about found a seat. It has a great atmosphere, obviously a local place and not a tourist based establishment. The food was super cheap compared to other places around the area and was absolutely delicious. Desert was also nice and wine very good. The service was quick, the waiters were very polite and did their best with English. Completely deserves 5 stars, and should have 6.
